Dr.K.H.Vanajamma, principal of Sri Vani Degree & PG College, obtained her Doctorate from the Department of Economics, Sri Krishnadevaraya University with her thesis on "Socio-economic conditions of rural women". She started her career as a junior lecturer in Sri Vani Junior College in 1995. She started working as principal of Sri Vani Degree and PG College in 2021. She has impressive academic credentials and also vast experience in administration.
Apart from focussing on the academics, she believes that a well planned, beautifully developed eco-friendly landscaped campus will foster learning in an environment away from the hustle and bustle of the city. The college is soon going to be an icon for quality yet affordable education in the region. She encourages the staff to prepare students in acquiring comprehensive knowledge in inter-disciplinary areas and skills that allow them to have successful careers or be creative entrepreneurs and leaders.
She is endowed with a progressive, futuristic outlook and aims for continuous growth in the quality of all academic activities. She has a sense of commitment to fully meet the expectations of the students, parents.
